Opened in 1982 by entrepreneur Nazir Kadiri and turned into a trusted local family business.
Kadiri News later expanded by opening a much needed laundrette for the local community.
OUR VISION
Part of our ethos is to bring products to the local community that they can't always get elsewhere. We have customers of all ages coming into the store and it is important we provide for the elderly who can't travel far to the school children about to begin their day.
WHAT WE DO
We are innovative and like to be trail blazers in the local community. Charity projects to support communities abroad harnessing the community spirit to bring everyone together.

We're in the heart of the Highfields area of Leicester City and a well known trusted brand for all. We have watched the community around us grow from children through to adulthood and serve their children now. Serving the community is a big part of what we do.
We have been a family-run newsagent here in the heart of Leicester. We believe in serving the local community and in providing friendly personalised service to our customers. In an age of huge corporations within the retail industry, we firmly believe in our human approach to customer service and satisfaction. We, as a small business, care about the individuals that shop with us. We believe this connection with the community is what has made us successful for such a long time.
