As a result of the governments new measures related to COVID-19 we have decided to adjust our pricing of essential items accordingly.
During these uncertain times of recovery, all essential items will be stocked and sold at cost price. This means the price we pay, is the price you pay.
We know that this is going to be a difficult road to recovery so we hope this will help ease the burden for all of you affected most severely.
Best wishes,

Supporting our customers and community during this difficult time is our number one priority. We want to make sure everyone has access to the items they need, so as of today, we will be open BUT we will be limiting the number of customers allowed in the shop at the same time to TWO!

This is inline with and following the very latest government public health guidance to ensure we do everything we can to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. We will also be prioritising our older and vulnerable customers, and our brilliant NHS and emergency workers.

We ask our customers to respect this rule and request.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

With love,

We would like to reiterate, we are committed to providing a continuing service to the local community and are taking risks by staying open. We would also like to reiterate that we are prioritising the elderly and most vulnerable.

We have also set up a fund (Zakah) for anyone who has less than £204 in their account to purchase items from the store. Please come in and just speak to a member of staff and we will help you as much as we can.

Due to heightened demand and growing scarcity of our products because of the novel COVID-19 outbreak, we have had no choice but to increase some of our prices on certain items. We hope you understand that our supply chains are increasing our cost prices and unfortunately we must pass this on to our customers to SOME non-essential items.

We are a very well established newsagents that has been in the heart of the Highfields community for the last 38 years. We feel that during this time, we must stand together. We all have a responsibility to do the right thing. We condone the actions of certain wholesalers but do realise that their overheads/raw material costs have drastically increased during these unscrupulous times.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation in these uncertain times.
